Volunteer FAQ’S

How do I sign up?
First, you need to Register as a volunteer. Then, you can access our sign up on the Volunteer Sign Up page.
Where are you located?
We are in Victoria, Minnesota — just past downtown Victoria and just across from Lake Auburn. Our address is 7600 Victoria Drive.
What are your biggest volunteer needs?
Friday afternoon meal delivery is our biggest need. We have hubs in Victoria, Minneapolis, and St. Paul so you can volunteer locally and show up for our neighbors. Deliveries are smoothest with a delivery buddy, and take 1-2 hours to complete. Go to our Volunteer Sign Up and restore love and dignity!
Can I bring my kids to volunteer?
YES! We have volunteer opportunities for families with kids of all ages. Our youngest volunteer is 2, and our oldest is 92! If your child is under 14, please accompany them and comment their age when you sign up to volunteer. That way, our team can have an age-appropriate volunteer project ready.

How do meal deliveries work?
We deliver meals every Friday afternoon. Volunteers sign up on our website, arrive between 1:30-3:00pm at the designated hub, we load up cars with delivery bags, and then the volunteers use a delivery app, Onfleet (similar to DoorDash) to navigate house to house to successfully deliver the meals. Watch the training video and bring a friend to make the process even smoother!
Do I use my own car do deliver meals?
Yes! It’s best if you can make sure your trunk or your backseat is clear so we can load up the meals with ease when you arrive.
How do I download the delivery app, Onfleet?
An invitation to download the Onfleet will come to you through text message. In the text message there is a link to download the app, and there is a temporary password. Login with your phone number (ex: +1-612-444-5922), and the temporary password. Then, you can make your own password, and you’re in!

My sports team, workplace, family, or community organization wants to volunteer together. How do we sign up?
We LOVE to have volunteer groups out to our site in Victoria, MN! We’ve had birthday parties, baseball teams, school groups, Girl and Boy Scout troops — we need everyone to make this happen!
Groups of 10 or less can register and sign up like usual. Groups of 10-30 people can fill out the Group Volunteer Form to start planning a volunteer event. 30+ will not fit at our current site all at once, but if you’re willing to get creative with us, we are too!
