One minute at a time

The Minutes to Meals Campaign honors volunteers while funding nutritious meals for our communities. Every minute given by a volunteer will be matched by a group of donors. 

1 minute = $1 matched by a donor

1 volunteer shift = $120 matched by a donor

1 volunteer shift x 40 people = $4,800 matched by a donor

Why now?

We have rock star volunteers who are so generous, so kind, so ready to give their time and talents to get good food to people in their community. Some come for 4+ hours every week. It’s obviously rewarding for them, but we want to make it really special and honor every single minute they spend working to make this happen. 

We have an increase in demand for meals to support youth, seniors, and veterans, and their families with a forecasted 270,000+ meals in 2022. Our meals are just under a dollar, $1.93 each with our excess capacity model of rescuing food and using it to make ready-to-enjoy meals.

Our goal is $375,000
